I ran into this copy-cat recipe on the internet and just had to give it a shot. I love these biscuits, and don't do much going out to eat anymore. They were very simple to make and came out perfectly. They were even great warmed up the next day!
Cheddar Bay Biscuits (Red Lobster)
Drop by about 1/4 C. size balls onto a cookie sheet. Don't try to make them perfect.
If you're going to put them on foil, spray with a little cooking spray to keep the biscuits from sticking to it
Mix the butter and bisquick by cutting it in with a fork or other tool. You want it to keep chunks about pea size. Don't over do it, or your biscuits will be too dense and heavy.
Add the cheese, milk, and garlic. Mix it in gently just till well distributed. Don't over mix.
Bake 15-17 Minutes until golden brown.
Now make your glaze with the butter, wine, garlic powder and herbs. Mix it up well and brush it on the tops of the biscuits.
Brushing that glaze on really makes them special. I keep a bowl of it at the table to dip the biscuits in as they're eating too. :-)
