Basics
Roasted Garlic
I start with a few bulbs of garlic and peel off any outside layer that is like paper. Cut off the top to expose the garlic. Then place them in some tin foil, enough to close it up for baking.

Drizzle them with little olive oil and make sure it's spread on the tops of the garlic.
Close up the foil around them and put them in the oven at 400 degrees for about 30-40 minutes or until soft.
Remove from the oven and let them cool enough to handle.  Then just squeeze out the garlic. It really does come out quite easily.
Now spread that good stuff on EVERYTHING.  Or mix it into marinades, or on top of grilled cheese....etc. etc. etc....
I use Roasted Garlic a LOT. When I make it, I make enough to freeze in small quantities so I can just pull one out of the freezer when I need it. It freezes very well and will add just that touch of extra flavor to so many things.
